Things are still pretty depressing in our house.. Mom is still mopey and leaking a fair bit, and although friends and family have been around a lot, things are especially hard at night and in the early hours of the morning when it is dark and quiet. The 1st week anniversary of Chloe's passing last Friday hard been exceptionally hard too... we all miss Chloe a lot, but I guess no one misses her more than mom because she had already started to feel Chloe's movements in her tummy for the last 2-3 weeks before we lost her.

I tried to cheer mom up the best I could and ended up making a complete fool of myself (with photos to prove) -- But well, at least I managed to squeeze a grin out of mom and I think I also proved that my sense of balance is pretty good.

Attttaaaaaaaaack!!

Good job trying to cheer your Mum up Huskee.

We heard about Angel Chloe, but I don't think we were able to come say sorry in person while the computer beed broke. We hads beed thinking about all of you a lot.

Mum has just read through all your posts and your Mom's honesty and strength has brought her to tears. I wish I could come give you all some real lickies, I very good at them.

No one can possibly understand the hurt that you must be going through, but we do think that everything happens for a reason, even if that really hard to understand I do hope you will have a chance again.

It is so sweet of you to try adn cheer the mommy up. She needs all teh love and snuggles that you and Hershey can give her right now. Especially when it's dark and quiet in the wee hours of the morning when she is at her downest. Your mommy is lucky to have pups that care as much as you two do!!

Huskee, it's nice to know that you can still make your mom smile! We just read your last post before this one and we say if someone is offended by what you write, then they shouldn't read your blog! It's YOUR blog and you can write whatever you want! It always helps to talk about your feelings...whether orally or by the written word. And we don't know how or why, but it does help to know that people (and dogs) all over the world are praying for whatever you might need at any given time! We wish you all the best and pray that God will help you to get through your grief.

Aire-hugs,
Poppy, Penny & Patches

Huskee, you're your mama's boy. You always be there for her, I admire your caring heart and a good sense of humor!
If I was there, I would do anything to smooth out the sadness on her beautiful face.
In the early morn, Huskee, stay close to your mom, gently place your paw on her tummy telling her that you and all of us love her and baby Chloe furever, k Huskee?
Love and hug and kiss.
PS: Huskee, Snowy and Crystal's mom for some unknown reason has to be away from them for a while, I have visited and comforted them today!

Hi S, we often dont know why things happen the way they did and the not knowing / understanding WHY makes it more difficult to accept the situation.
The thought of Lucas / Chloe departing well before THEIR TIME pains me as much as Fi's sudden departure. I have been there, I truly know how U feel.
I havent completely gotten over the loss of my little one yet. But I can now smile when I think of her sumseng ways! SHE was GOD's greatest gift to me.
Just spill out /blog whatever U feel if it makes U feel better. And if others cant understand / accept yr openness, they have a choice not to go to yr blog to read the contents!
Take care / see ya sometime / SK

My Mommy cried when she read your Mom's comment about being happy we are your friends. It's the other way around. Mommy values your friendship and is so happy that Samantha has the great honor of protecting Chloe & Lucas.

How could Shane not laugh at your silly self Huskee. You are just too cute.
