Now she wants me to 'smile' for her stup*d camera...
Hey dad, can you please do something about your wife and make her give me the *%#!$@ toy??
I also want to share with you a 'lesson' that I/ mom learnt. Mom saw this black poodle stuffie and bought it with the intention of sending it to T-man. That was sometime in Feb/ Mar this year. However, she never got about doing it because she always thought that she'd 'do it later'... and procrastinated and procrastinated until she forgot about it. Then when we moved house in late June, the little poodle 'reappeared' while we were unpacking and mom put it aside thinking that she'd send it to T-man once we have settled down in the new house. Unfortunately, T-man left us very unexpectedly to go to the Rainbow Bridge on 28Aug.
We finally got our act together and sent it to Angel T-man's mom and CC-man a week or so ago and we deeply regret that T-man never got to see his little look-alike. The lesson learnt?? Life is too just too fragile, please take some time to let the people that you care about know how much you love them and how much they mean to you. I think sometimes it's just human nature to take the people around us for granted. And of course, please don't forget about your fur kids too...

Sit-Stay is a very torturous command. But you did it well & it was worth it! You got the toy in the end! That Poodle stuffie does look like T-Man. That's a great thing to do to give it to his Mom. I think she feel very happy.

Why do parents do weird things?
My mom learned a similar lesson when her mom died. They idn't get along and mom's mom was very mean to my mom. My mom dwelled on her and her mom's relationship for the 2 1/2 years they weren't speaking. When her mom died, Mom felt free. She was upset she spent those 2 1/2 years dwelling on something that made her sad, mad and sick instead of enjoying her own life and being happy. Almost a year ago mom's bestfriend for 23 years treated her really bad and hurt mom even worse than her mom ever did. Mom was upset about it for a couple months and then remembered the lesson she had learned just a few months earlier and moved on. I still want to bite that friend for hurting mom so bad, but since mom started moving on all sorts of good things have been happening (your mom knows a little bit) and we are all happy and healthy. That friend on the other hand isn't doing so good because she kept spreading rumors about mom and was saying some VERY mean things (like she wished my mom had died instead of my mom's mom) and now she's sick and people are after her for money her new husband owes them and he husband just lost his business and if she's not careful, she might be loosing her job, too. Since Mom didn't dwell and worry about the drama from her and get upset about the mean things she was telling people, we are all much happier.

Huskee,
Yes, that is very good advice your mom is giving. That being said, we want to thank you so much for visiting us during our very difficult time. You were really a good friend and we appreciate you and your mom so much. My mom is home now and we are happily visiting with all our friends. My mom says that cat in your previous post is pretty f-a-t! The kitty shouldn't worry though cause my mom thinks I'm f-a-t too!

We are sure that T-man's mom is pleased to get the stuffie. That is a good lesson for all of us. Time moves so quickly that we do miss out sometimes.
Did you get to destroy your new toy?
Hey Huskee,
We've nominated you for an award! Do check it out at my bloggie. Z wants to thank you mom for her encouragement and that she's very grateful for it, do give her more advice if you are free.
p.s. she was so touched that she started leaking.
p.p.s. I like the stuffie too, Z almost never gets me any.

Hi Huskee! Yours and T-man's were among the earliest blogs I followed when I got hooked to DWB last year.I cannot remember if I bothered to let you know how much I enjoyed reading your stories. Your post about T-man's stuffie reminded me to, so there.
Please also tell your Mom that I have silently read her stories about baby Lucas, and I wish I had dropped a comforting word or two back then, having experienced pregnancy myself. I hope she is coping with her feelings, of course I know that you are very good in comforting her.
I will add your blog in our list of favorite blogs, is that okay?

Hi, Huskee!
You had to work to get that toy!
I am sure T-Man's mom loves the stuffy.
Kisses and hugs

Huskee and mom,
Your gift actually came at a good time to help cheer us up. I probably wouldn't have actually given the stuffie to T-man directly (just posing it next to him for a photo), because he would have chewed it up!! Maybe there was a reason for your "forgetting" till now. Don't worry, your timing worked out well :)
Thanks for your story. It's a good reminder for all of us.
T-man's mom, CC-man and T-man Angel
Thank you for this reminder. Mine is quite an expert in procastination too. (LS, hope you remember this lesson)
That's a cute toy you've got there!
Have a good weekend now!

hi huskee..
we saw you have a new brother.. patients friend...
the new toys are so funny.. but do you have it, yet????
your reflexion about T-man.. and the life is deep...
and with a lot sensibility...
a big hug
what a great message guys, we totally agree that life is too short for all us doggies.
A very sad but true observation about life. It's short and if we procrastinate, tomorrow might never come.
Hullo H's!!!
Now that story about T-Man made me cry (sob!)...while the one about the party was great. Keeper celebrated that festival too with her fairy friends. Btw, is that a fat cat or preggy one? She sure looks grumpy.
You've been nominated! Hehe!
Luv reading your blog~
Cheers

although it was late... but i'm sure angel t-man knows u love him very much to buy him the stuffie
hi there huskee!
I understand how you feel. Siblings can be such a tease. Especially sisters. they are evil. not to mention, conniving. My sister/spy/reporter Poopie is also a big pain in the behind. Which brings me to the conclusion that sisters are taddle tails.
Between you and me though, methinks that THEY make for better toys than your squeak ball.. hihihi.
