Yesterday was Dragonboat Festival and the hoomans brought home these little rice dumplings which is synonymous with the festival. Too bad they did not give me any as these are made of glutinous rice and mom said that glutinous rice is bad for me cos they cannot be easily digested. (Paw-sonally, I think it's her excuse for not sharing the rice dumpling with me...)
There is actually a Chinese folklore behind this festival though I am not very sure about the details since mom isn't the most knowledgeable person around... Honestly sometimes I think that I could be the smartest being in the household. If I were any smarter, I'd probably gather all my DWB friends and plan to take over the world, invent a cure for AIDS & cancer, annihilate ticks from the surface of the earth, find a way to visit ALL my friends from around the world, prepare my own dinner..... (the list goes on)..

I think your mom is smart for not sharing food that can give you a tummy ache! That's an interesting little green packet. I suppose you take the tie off before you eat it?
Love ya lots,
Maggie
Hmm, those dumplings look interesting. No good for me as all rice makes me sick!

Hi, Huskee
Don't be mad with your mom. She doesn't want you to get sick.
Sounds a good idea that thing of taking over the world. What we have to do??
Have a nice day

Hey Huskee.
I think our Moms are both liars. They always make up these dumb lies when they don't want to share their food. I think we have to put our brains together and outsmart them!!!
Tobes
Hey Huskee, can you send some of those rice dumplings over to Uncle Sammi and me? I think once they've traveled air mail they'll be more digestible (hee hee)

The humans really should be afraid of the community we have here and all the smarts we collectively have!
that looks vewy intewesting, I'm not suwe I could have wesisted twying them..keep working on solving all those things, Hoomans aren't doing such a gweat job solving the worlds pwoblems, maybe a clever doggie like you could do better

Definitely one of those poor human excuses for not sharing food. They seem to think up SO many.
The only answer is to steal it, do you need a leg up from an SUMD to reach the kitchen counter?

maybe I'll ask them to make a stop at Singapore!
I want some of those to eat.
