Hershey has this really sweet habit since the day she came into our family. Everytime dad goes into the bathroom without her, she will loiter outside and look forlonly at the closed door until dad emerges... she will stay there regardless how long dad takes inside, and the humans find it so sweet everytime they see her doing it.
Interestingly enough, she only behaves this way towards dad... she doesn't really bother if it was mom. This had made mom quite mad (jealous???).
We are quite curious if any of you do the same thing too?

i does that too! most of the times, i wait outside the bathroom on the carpet while my Mom takes her bath. sometimes if im happy, i wait for my aunty (aka mom's sister) too.
unlike me sister (emma), she does not even bother. maybe that is why everyone dotes on me more? BOL
DoDo does that too! Sometimes she waits for me sometimes for Brian. MoMo does it once in a while too. :D

Oh that is sweet Hershey. In our house it is Martha and mum - she follows her everywhere and if she closes the bathroom door she whines!
Sometimes it can be a bit annoying..........

We wait outside the bathroom door if we know our mom or dad is going somewhere. We want to make sure we're not left behind!

NEVER! Mainly because I do not fit comfortably in the space outside the wet room. PeeWee only does it when he is hoping for a walkie. I think dad must be up to something that Hershey wants to participate in.

Katie does too, if Mom's in the bathroom. She'd rather be inside, sleeping on the rug and waiting to lick the drops of water off Mom's legs and toes. Of course that tickles. Especially the toes!
I will usually do that if Mom goes into the powder room on the furst floor - I'll hang around just outside of it so she doesn't try to get away with ME!

Nope, we don't do that. Sam & I just walk on Jan's heels into the bathroom so she can't close us out.

I always give my Duchess her privacy, but Mister Higgins just barges right in there to see what's going on. He always pokes his nose into everything - even the shower!

Oh yes, I do that with mom, but usually go right into the bathroom with her. And when she's in the shower, I'll always go and drag her clothes into the bedroom. It's just my habit. Once I tore her pants when they got caught in the door, but she didn't get mad.

Ha ha!! I don't just stay outside the door, I gotta go in with her. It's just me & her at home so she just leaves the door open. I wait very patiently until she gets out of the shower and then I lick the water off her ankels. Hershey is adorable. I've always likeed to see little girls with their Daddys.
Mommy is taking Monday off and she says we'll spend the whole tiem together.

That's sweet of Hershey to stay guard and wait for your dad. We usually stay by the door of our terrace when ever we feel that Mommy has arrived home. She loves it when she sees all of us waiting for her and wagging our tails so she'd open the door and say hello to us. Weeeeee

That is very sweet of you, Hershey. We don't do that here because the showers are upstairs where the bedrooms are and for some reason the humans don't let us up there. That's why we steal the sofas from them:)

I do that too when Mom goes into the bathroom. I will wait outside the door for her...sometimes I get impatient and run down for some distractions, but whenever she comes out, she will find me looking at her quizzically...heh!

Hi Hershey yes I do the exact same thing except I whine at the door and Daddy lets met in. I sit on the counter while he shaves then move to the mat while he is in the shower. I do not go near the bathroom when Mom is in there. We posted (Madi and Dad's routine) about it several weeks ago. These are adorable pictures of you.

Mommy did a post last night about the harnesses that DROH makes but earlier she was looking at Christmas and Birthday cards we got and she came across the on you guys sent. It made her cry but good tears. It was very special and she posted it too.

I am not allowed upstairs.....where the big shower room is, and I thankfully I relieved at this rule. I do not like water.
However, I do wait at the bottom of the stairs for my Jeannie every day, while she is getting ready.
But I also wait for my Papa when he is home too, so guess I am quite fair in my distribution of my love!!

We don't sit at the door but if mom goes into the bathroom in her room both Flash and I follow her and lay on the bed until she comes out and then we follow her back out of the room into the living room. We only do it with mom.

Except I(Angel) get to go inside the toilet with Mommy(I fall asleep in the bathroom while she showers!) & Miko only gets to stay outside of the room as she not allowed to enter mommy's mom room due to her shedding.
