Thank you very much to Sir Chance-lot and his very talented mommy for making the below for me. I only wish my mom's as talented so that I can reciprocate their kindness.

On Saturday night, The Maid and mom joined forces and under their captivity and torture, they managed to trim my nails because someone *glares at The Maid* complained to mom that my nails are too long. Then mom got carried away and decided to trim my hair too cos she thinks it'd be better for my skin. I have been getting pimples on my body and the medicine from the vet does not seem to be helping at all. Anyway, I am scratching here, scratching there, scratching everywhere... sigh... Following the vet's advice, I am totally off chicken now to see if it's the cause of my skin problem. I have never had this problem before, so the hoomans are equally perplexed. I also did a blood test to check if I have any diabetes, kidney, heart, etc. problems... and the results are good, so really no idea what's the cause of my skin condition. If any pup out there has got any advice, please share them with me ok?

Hehehehehe, so you're all nice & trimmed now heh? Hehehehe... Hmmm, I also have no idea why you're having itchy skin. It must be allergy then what else could it be? Stop eating chicken at least for a month & see what's wrong & if it's not that, then maybe the shampoo but if it's not that, then there's something in your food that's not right for you.

I'm sorry to hear about your skin problem. I heard you don't really like fish..cos I think fish is quite good. Oh dog, I went to trim my nails too this weekend. It was bearable... :P
Have you tried Aloveen shampoo and conditioner? It has aloe vera and oatmeal and really helps to smooth the itches. I could get Mom to pour some out for you to try and pass to your maid if she wants.

hmmm... could it be bcoz you miss baby too much? maybe it was me? hmmm....

seriously, no idea what causes you the itch. did you check with your maid if she give you anything that you are not supposed to eat? or maybe grandma or grandpa?

or change of diet? my last itch was bcoz dad playing with my kibbles. i got few brands of kibbles from a short 3 months and the vet said i was stress out due to that.

wow they really are such creative photo's !!
I'm not sure what could be cuasing your itchies, but here are some things that we have had - alergies to some grasses & plants - mostly rash on feet & tum though - told to remove all offending plants from the garden & avoid walking near them. Hot spots - hot under thick hair - advised shorter hair and weekly bath with special oatmeal & aloevera doggie shampoo.
Good luck

Wow such beautiful pics - Our mama is going to copy it and put it in our doggie scrapbook which is going to feature all our doggie blog friends (only of course if it is ok with your mama?)

BY the way! Jake has itchy skin since he was 3 months old and is on steroids and special food. He is allergic to dust and certain foods. We hope you get rid of the itchies - it could just be seasonal?

hi huskee, how about trying a non-irritant shampoo? mom switched to this natural oatmeal anti-itch soothing shampoo when i suddenly developed scabs everywhere and i've been fine since.

i don't like having me nails trimmed either, but since mom compensates me with treats – one for every clip – i just put up with it. u must remember to demand for the treats next time!

The horror!! How dare your Maid cut your nails. Actually my Mom just cut mine & I was pretty darn peeved about it, let me tell you!

Good luck with your skin condition. I have something similar with my itchy feets.

itchies!

that's may be the reason why my pawrents don't give me other food than the boooring kibbles!

I've heard that chicken espawcially bones could be not good for doggies.. something about it not thoroughly cooked and the blood tha's cause skin problems.. and the bones may stick on the throat.

one time they have to take away all Pedigree dogfood kibbles because it contains grinded chicken bones and cause itchy of many dogs..

nice photo!!!! Cahnce's mom is very talented.

Ooh, no chicken?? That sounds scary. My mom put me on a special allergy diet a few years ago where I could only eat rice & venison for three months (yukko). Then she was supposed to reintroduce me to one food at a time. But if I cheated once in the 3 mos, I had to start over. After several cheats, Mom gave up. We found the problem wasn't really allergy-related later.

I hope you can find the problem. Maybe it's seasonal too and will go away soon.
