(I did tell them to practice some self-restraint but when they knew that Fu Fu could be reading this post, there was no holding them back.. *helpless*)
Fu Fu is so lucky to have 2 gals fighting for his affection, but well, guess he can't help it cos he is just too cute! ** Fu Fu, do me a favour and let me know when you make your choice so that I can have some peace when they stop their bickering.
I can't believe the weekend is here again.. although there isn't much for me to look forward to cos I can't go and stay with my mum and dad like I did last week. Ma's going to spend the weekend in Hong Kong to attend a friend's wedding. Hope she get me some nice toys!!
(Oh and did I tell you guys that I have got hotspots on my front paws?? It's been there for a while and I am under the much dreaded 'E-collar treat aka Satellite dish' treatment'. All the creams don't seem to be helping much so I keep trying to lick them away but ended up getting a big scolding from The Maid.. sheeshh.. Life's tough).

With a heavy heart, I bid a final farewell to Milo 'The Mechanic'. To honour Milo's 11 years on this plane, I'd like to dedicate this post to him and share his life with my friends.
Milo was dad's other dog but he lived in Johor, Malaysia with the rest of dad's family. He is the son of dad's previous dogs, Shorty (yes.. so named because he was short) and May (a Maltese cross something that no one knows what exactly) - both deceased.. Shorty was put to sleep a few years back as he was very old and had many ailments that was causing him a lot of pain and discomfort. May was knocked down by a car many years ago.
Dad said that Milo was a very good guard dog that protected the premises... he was very good at chasing off stray cats and dogs that sometimes walk into 'his' premises and was known to have killed snakes and attacked big iguanas when he was in his prime. Basically Milo was courageous and quite fearless (except for thunder!!).
He was nicknamed 'The Mechanic' because he loved to spend his time watching the world go by from the comfort of his favourite spot - i.e. under the car and always ended up having dark stains on his fur.
No one knows the cause of his death and it took everyone by surprise.. Milo was found lifeless on Wednesday morning.. he passed away in his sleep.
I hope Milo is now running across acres of green fields with his parents, Shorty and May, his brother Horlicks, his girlfriend who passed away giving birth prematurely to a litter of 10 pups (the hoomans don't think the pups belonged to him as they did not look like him a single bit) and his friend Husky (a rottweiler), with which he had a love-hate relationship (mum claims that the pups looked more like rotties).
Rest in peace my friend...

Oh, and I saw this picture on ma's laptop the other day. It was taken around the Christmas period. She kept saying to me "See, it's so easy to take a nice picture with Scuba cos he looks AT the camera.. why do you always look AWAY??!!.. blah.. blah.. yak...yak.." - I blocked out the rest of her nagging..

Ma is an ardent fan of Care Bears (I can't believe how lame that is since she is no longer a child) and this is part of her 'collection' through the years. She acquired them through various sources, ebay, business trips to the US, specialty toy shops in Singapore, as gifts from friends overseas (the unique/ limited edition ones are very rare in Singapore and her friends from Australia sometimes sends them over to her)... I believe she has over 50 of them (I never really had the time to count since I'm always so busy, you know) in various sizes ranging from 3 inches to 20 inches, but her favourite is still the small 7 inch ones.. This is also mainly due to space constraints.. hiak hiak..
Anyway The Maid took all of them out for a bath last week and I just couldn't resist 'helping' out... So far I have yet to 'love' any of them to 'death' (I think I'd be in hot soup if I did!!).
