Here are some previous pics of me on one of my walkies before I had my furcut. Now I am quite glad that my fur is so much shorter.. not only is it cooler in the terrible hot and humid weather, it is also much more manageable and the humans don't have to spend so much time combing me, thus leaving me with time to do more impawtant things... like sleeping, playing, roaching, begging for table scraps, etc.
I guess because of the weather, Hershey's been blowing her coat recently and her fur is ALL OVER the house. And I really mean ALL OVER... on the curtains, in all the corners of the house, on the table tops, under the sofa, on the display shelves (yes, for this season, Border Collie fur is on display), in our food, in our water, on our bedroom slippers, on the quilt cover, list goes on... (now mom wishes that she did more research on the Border Collie breed before she brought Hershey home. LOL!!) The humans have been combing her non-stop and there is still a lot of fur on that body of hers!! The good thing is for us mixed breed dogs, we hardly ever shed, so mom never had this problem with me. **whew**

I can't believe the weather is SOOO hot these days! I almost feel like I'm melting sometimes...>.<" No wonder Hershey sheds so much! Hope the weather gets back on track real soon!

The shedding season is here and I'm driving my parents nuts with all my fluffy fur all over the house. Our house now look like a shedding farm!
It is really hot over here too. I'm glad LS had my hair cut short as well. Phew!
After reading this, LS said she's really relieved that I don't shed.

Your hair cut is sooo lovable! I can imagine that it is much more suitable for this weather althow here is not hot yet.
I understand about lots and lots of hair every where..it was like that with my late dear step mommy Bella..but with me it's much more easier becouse I don't have any sub coat..did I write it wright?

You look different Huskee. Definitely neater! Hershey, you are not alone. Chloe is blowing her fur too! And real soon, Megan & Orion/River will be blowing their fur too & it'll be a huge mess to clean up everyday. Hehehe! Good thing we have a part-time maid that comes in everyday now to help out with the housework.

Our girl constantly lives in the house of hair. Comet and I have worked our schedules out so we never blow our coats at the same time. Glad you get to spend your time doing fun things and not getting groomed.

I think Hershey has learned the Innocent Face quite well. She looks like a BRILLIANT border collie with a lot of soul...just look at those eyes!

Tell your mom to try the Furminator. That really pulls out the shedding furs! My mom uses it on me just because I like the way it feels. My furs are so short that even when I shed it's not a problem. When Ziggy gets furminated you could make 3 small dawgs out of the fur!

that is a lot of fur flying around for sure, but it will be over soon. My Grandma puts the vacuum hose to Mabel to get the loose fur. hehe
LOL...yep we do shed a lot. It gets everywhere, it does keep the humans busy though with cleaning it up..hehe

We all got a hair cut last week. The shorter fur is sure nice when the weather gets warm.
Yuck, my brother is a shedding machine too. Its everywhere; water, food, bed, bath, when will it end. Blowing around like tumbleweeds.
I hope a soak helps you get taller. You need it to keep up with you know who.
