Dad took mom out for dinner one evening and they were both really dressed up this time (they usually just go out in t-shirt and jeans... sloppy eh?!)... When they came home, they were still raving about the 'glorious view, delicious food and wonderful atmosphere'.. not that Hershey and I care about any of those. The only thing we noticed is that they did NOT bring back anything for us...

Mom showed us the photos that they took from their window seat in the restaurant... this restaurant is perched atop of the tallest hotel in Singapore on the 69th floor and as it was a fairly clear day the day they were there, they had a clear view of the Singapore city skyline. Mom wanted to add that the food was great too albeit expensive - their dinner costed around S$550 (US$360). They were enjoying their food so much they totally forgot to take photos until their dessert plates have been cleared.. LOL!!

On another subject matter, we have got a worried pup at home these days. Hershey's 1st barkday is just around the corner and mom had already warned her that she will no longer be a 'puppy' after the 24th of April and any of her nonsense will no longer be tolerated, i.e. no chewing of clothing, no chewing of furniture, no 'accidents' on the bed, no jumping on our guests... etc (the list is long).

Our friends, The Four Musketeers, have already sent over not one, but TWO packages attentioned to Hershey's name. It'll be her very first barkday presents and she's promised to only open it on the 24th. We will definitely be posting the photos then. Hershey: THANK YOU very much guys... you are the best!! **muacks**

What great pictures. Mom says no way would you ever get her looking out a window that high up though. Hopefully the food was worth the money. Poor Hershey has to grow up now.

Hershey...

Don't worry. According to the AKC rules for show dogs, there is still a Puppy Class for the 12-18 month olds.

So, technically, you have six more months to work on shaping up. Don't let your humans pressure you into Be Having too quickly!!!

(and yes, you and I look a LOT alike!)

Your loving fan,
Fenway

Hey spectacular views. Misery and Mistress usually go out in jeans and tshirts too because they don't like getting dressed up.

They loved Singapore when they were there.

We're glad that your parents had a great time! My mommy is disappointed that they didn't take pictures of the dessert; that's her favorite part of the meal.

Don't worry Hershey! You will still be your parent's puppy. Even though they say you're going to be an adult, deep down, they still see you as their young'un.

It looks so freakin COOL in Singapaw! I hope your humans had a good meal I think they deserve it, your Mom is so great and has been through a lot!

As for Hershey, the clock is ticking LOL

How nice of The Four Musketeers sending Hershey's First Barkday way ahead!
Your parents did enjoy the evening, was it their anniverasry or either one's birthday? And Singapore by night is stunning, the green and clean city turns colorfully breathtaking when the sun sets!

wow... that is a lovely view Huskee... I could just imagine how divine the food was for the hoomans to spend taht amount of money.

Maybe next time they can bring some doggie bags?

And oh, tell the black and white one not to worry. She is bound to outgrow her shennanigans eventually. for now, maybe she can start saving her treats to make sure she has enough bail if ever she breaks any rule after her 1st birthday. (and dont forget to tell on her if ever she does! BOL!)hehe..

drooly kisses,

Aki

Around here, the youngest dog is always "the puppy" until somebody new comes along. I don't know if that includes being bad and doing baby things or not since I don't remember that far back.

Hopefully Hershey will live up to the expectations of being a big doggie.

Slobbers,

Hi Huskee and Hershey,

Wow Singapore sure is pretty. We don't have majestic skylines like yours. Fershey shouldn't worry about growing up. She will always be your Mom's baby girl.

We bet your parents had a wonderful dinner. The pictures were fabulous! Poor Hershey - what is she going to do if she can't chew and destroy things. Doesn't seem fair that she has to stop now that she is 1 year old.

Jan just fainted at the thought of spending $360 on one meal. Not that she wouldn't LIKE to ....

So while she can't interrupt (since she's out cold), let us add that we think Hershey might consider reminding his mom that some pups mature faster than others, so he shouldn't worry. Just enjoy his coming birthday. And milk it for everything he can. Your first birthday only comes once in a guy's life.
