Sadly, we came back from the weekend to the news that Bogart's daddy had passed away. Despite the outpouring of love, support and prayers, it wasn't enough to keep him with those who loved him most.

Death is not something that I can fully get my paws on and I don't understand it one bit. But I do know that the one thing which can surpass death is love, because love can keep our dearly departed ones alive in our hearts for ever and ever.

Mom also says it's a reality check for her to treasure all the people (and furries) around her, and not to take anyone for granted. She admits that she does take people (mostly dad) and things around her for granted without really realising it.

I think it's about time we all learn to love and live each day fully as if it were the last. Ok, for the 'love' part, I shall start showing my LOVE to the ice-cream man down the street, and maybe the postman... ummm... maybe not. And to live each day to the fullest, mom, can you give me ALL the treats you have hidden in the drawer and ALL the new toys you have hidden in your cupboard? (yes, I know they are there...)

That was so beautifully expressed - love can conquer all - and it sure seems like there was an abundance of love between Klaus, Lulu, and Bogart.
Now, woo must learn to be nice to the ice cream man - he has yummy treats and he just might drop one on the ground for woo. And the postman brings lots of goodies here, he must do the same at your place.

Time for all of us to spread the love.

I have the same thoughts and as usual, I can't express that very thoughtful and nice.
My mom also hides the new toys and treats in the closet, I know that, and guess what?
I'mmmm gonna, no, I won't tell you, hehe!
Huskee, you don't take me for granted, do you, hehe!

That is a great post, Huskee...=) Yes, love is definitely something we should treasure. Mom got a reality check too for not taking anyone (especially me!) for granted. =)

Yes Huskee Boy, we need to live life to the fullest!! You've got a good idea there. We were very sad to hear about Klaus, though we didn't know him well. They seemed like such a loving family.

You're right..I think your mom needs to give you all your treats and toys right away so you can enjoy your life completely.

That was a very loving and wise post. We took the news about Bogart's dad very hard, too.

About your tail....I feel sorry for you Huskee that your little Hershey thinks it's a play toy. Sometimes I do the same with my own tail! So, I'm afraid I don't have any advice for you!

Your pal,
Fenway

wise words, such wise words. My Jeannie feels the same too, after this sad, and tragic event.

We had sad songs on our blog up until today, but we decided to Celebrate Life, like Asta in the U.S. told us about.

Life is short and precious, make the most of every moment, this kinda thing brings you to reality in a way.

I don't like the postman either, he is vile............

and I barkalot at him.

love and many sad licks, Marvin xxxx
