Post- Christmas Blues...

Christmas day came and went before I knew it... Why can't we have Christmas once a month?? Imagine that... *bliss*... Well, I spent the better half of the morning ripping open my pressies and ma was so jealous of me cos I have got more pressies than her!! Thanks to all my friends...

This lovely jacket is from Fu Fu and his mum..
(Huskee's ma: I love this jacket and I only wish it came in hooman size!!)

My gift all the way from Canada!!

This is from my dear friend Jay and his mum. I love the red and blue cos it brightens up my otherwise 'monochrome' coloured coat!

This turtle is from my dear Auntie Sam

This ltttle squeaky doggy is from either Jack or Joey... I received a present from each of them but the other was little raw hide boot and I chewed it up before ma could take a picture of it.. Ooops...

This huge squeaky is from Godma

and last but not least, these are from ma and pa..

Other than these, I have also received a hand-painted bowl with my picture on it from Herbie, a yellow squeaky teddy bear from Rafv, a squeaky doughnut from Bingo... and many, many more! Ma said she'd not have to buy me any toys for a long time!!

Another Pressie for ME!!

Ma brought back another present when she came back from work last night.. it is from Herbie!!

Is it what I think it is??? Thanks Herbie and Auntie Sharon!

Checking out some of my presents... I CAN"T WAIT TO OPEN THEM!!

Oh, and ma made some of these yesterday for my friends (Jay, Scuba & Co., Uncle Derick's 3 furkids - Max, Spanky and Duchess, etc).. I think it's supposed to be GingerBread Meat Patties (not sure if anyone's heard of it before..). , there's a choice of a 'flavours' - Pork and Garden Greens or Beef, Bacon and Rice. After ma packed them into their respective containers, she realised that she didn't make enough and guess who had to go without??! Hmmph!!! I am not happy... seriously how can this happen?? What will I eat?? I think I am going over to Godma/ Scuba's place... *#$%^&#@!

I am not looking at you anymore...Hmmmph!!

Tagged (Episode 3)

This is the 3rd time I have been tagged... When I found out that I have been tagged by Comet and Blu, I almost fell off my chair.. but after reading the instructions, it didn't seem so bad... it actually sounded quite fun!!

The Rules: The player of this game starts with "3 things he/ she would love to get for Christmas" and also has to list "3 things he/ she definitely does not want to get for Christmas". Then he/she tags 5 friends and list their names. The ones who get tagged need to write on their blogs about their Christmas wishes, as well as state this rule clearly, then tag 5 more victims. And the one who tags need to leave a comment that says "you've been Christmas tagged!" in their comments and tell them to read your blog.

Things I'd live to get for Christmas:
1) Lifetime supply of bellyrub vouchers (redeemable from the hoomans anyday, anytime... with absolutely no fine prints on the 'terms and conditions' (cos there are none!)
2) TOYS! The louder the squeak, the better!!
3) A girlfriend.. (this wish was my birthday wish, but since it hasn't been fulfilled, I will try it again for Christmas).. I am jealous of T-Man and Chelsea, Boo and Chiyo, y'know..
4) A postman who'll leave behind a treat or two for me.. and of cos who delivers my pressies and cards to my friends BEFORE Christmas!!!

Things I definietly wouldn't want to get for Christmas:
1) Hair cut / Session at the groomers - Need I say more?
2) Being alone at home...
3) Ticks (ewwww...)

My 5 victims are:
Jay, Murphey, Baily, Fee and T-Man!

Have fun!!

(Huskee's Ma:- I think it'd be more appropriate if it said 'Small Dog with Big Attitude Problem'')

From my dearest Auntie Sam

From my Big Little Brother Scuba and his feline siblings, Pepper and Ginger

From Jack and Joey!!

This is from Rafv and his pa and ma.. Thank you Uncle Cas and Auntie R!!

These are some of the cards that I received from all my friends from around the world (I received about a dozen more after this pic was taken).. I really look forward to the postman's delivery every day and I have decided that the 'Postman is Friend, Not Foe' and will not bark at him anymore (well, not this month anyway!!).. I got to be nice so that I will be on Santa Paws' 'Nice Pooch' list..

Countdown to Christmas (Phase II)
Countdown to Christmas (Phase I) was the making of the Christmas cards for the card exchange.. Now that it's been completed, ma and I have started Phase II, aka shopping for presents!! Actually ma had already started with shopping for some of the gifts sometime last month and this weekend was to complete the 'unfinished' business...
We went round looking for gifts for my pals and and when that was done, we shopped for wrappers, decorative thingys, padded envelopes (for those that needs to be mailed), etc... All in all, it was a fun but tiring day. (I saw ma sneaking something into the shopping basket which she obviously didn't want me to see.. I think I have more pressies!! Hee...) When we have gotten all the pressies that we need and ma had to get down to wrapping them.. Boy was there loads to wrap!! (Ma was making so much noise 'cos she ended up with many paper cuts...Typical of her to be so clumsy!!)
Sneak preview of the pressies
(this is only 50% of them.. the rest have not yet been wrapped)..

Dog-tired after all the activities...

The next 'nghtmare' will be going to the post office to weigh and get the correct postage stamps for the packages... With Christmas just 2 weeks away, many people are rushing to send off their presents.. Oh my...

Finally got to see some of the photos that ma and pa took when they were in Hong Kong last week.. I discovered evidence of them having an 'affair' behind my back with not one, but two dogs!! Their names are Goofy and Pluto and they look strangely familiar to me though I cannot remember where I have seen them before... Here's the evidence:

Ma even had the nerve to bring back a T-shirt which had Pluto on it!! What's the world coming to? I feel that my position within the household is being threatened...

I think I may need to start planning for my future soon... and I need to know more about this 'invader' in order to win back my ma and pa. The more I searched, the more worried I got.. apparently Pluto has got a lot of friends. However, it is a weird mixture with mice (Mickey and Minnie), ducks (Donald and Daisy), squirrels (Chip and Dale), a deer called Bambi and yes, and even an elephant called Dumbo (from the name, I don't think this one will be of any threat!!)

Fortunately I think I should be able to cope with the enemy since I also have loads of friends that I made on DWB and I am sure I can count on them!!

My Christmas Card is Completed!!

Yayyy... my ma finally completed my Christmas cards for the card exchange last night .. Actually many people played a part in the making of the card and I'd like to give credit to (ahem...) here it goes (in no particular order):

1) Ma who contributed the most in terms of time, effort and money (I don't have any money after getting Christmas gifts for my friends...*innocent look*). She spent many long hours at her desk cutting, pasting, stamping and colouring (and giving me the 'evil eye'... the deadline was very tight cos she wanted to ensure that all the cards can be sent out by this week and it was really hectic as she left on a business trip to China right after the cards were competed.
2) Pa who co-designed the photo that was used and then played the part of pasting 50% of whatever that needed to be glued together (yes I offered to do that but Ma said 'NO Huskee!!'.. She said it was due to hygiene reasons...)
3) Pa's friend, Uncle Julian, who was the 'Master Designer' who 'photo-shopped' the photo...
4) Auntie Sharon and Godma for getting the stamps!!
5) The Maid, who has been been assigned the all important task of pasting the correct stamps on each card and then bringing it to the post box!
Whew... mission accomplished... I can now put my paws up and relax! Nowadays I can't wait to open the mailbox everyday cos there is always something for me!

Now it's time for my nap... Zzzzz....
